PHOTOGRAPHY DAYS OUT LONDON FAQ
Duration and scheduling
All shoots are designed to be completed in iconic locations in London I.e Westminster, Tower Bridge and St-Paul’s Cathedral. However, your location suggestions are welcomed. I am also happy to travel to other destinations in the UK.
A great aspect of my work is getting to meet a wide variety of people from lots of different places around the world and being fortunate to be part of special occasions. This involves, honeymoons, family vacations & anniversaries (Not to mention Baby moons ;) it is my complete pleasure to capture these moments so you can hold on to these special events and share them with friends and family.
Best time of the day
I find that the best time of day for my Family shoots is weekdays in the morning around 6.30 – 7.00am in the summer and 9am in the winter months. I will always try my best to miss the busy morning crowds and avoid unwanted commuters in the background!
For Couple shoots- My shoots mostly aim to be at sunrise or close to sunset to help us take advantage of "Magic Hour" where the light is most complimentary for this type of photography.
Availability I am happy to find a date and time that suits you – this can be in the week or weekend at no extra cost – However I will require at least two weeks notice and lament made in full to hold your booking.
What if someone falls ill?
Any cancellation by the client must be made in writing via email.
The date on which the email is received by us, will determine the cancellation charges that are applicable. These charges are expressed as a percentage of the total Photography Shoot price and are as follows: More than 30 days before the workshop or tour: Loss of payment is 0% ; 15 days before workshop or tour 30%, 3 or less before tour or workshop is 50%.
What will happen if we get heavy Rain?
I will always try my best to keep an eye on the weather and update you on what the possible weather conditions are likely to be. Heavy rain may mean we will have to reschedule the shoot if possible. London weather can sometimes be different then what is shown on the weather report. However if we experience some light rain and I am happy to take a break until it passes.
Extra Information on Weather
A lot of the time weather in the UK can be challenging to make sure you have perfect sunshine. However amazing images can be captured when couples of families are happy to get a little muddy or wet.
My aim is not to capture your standard iconic London photo – but record unique family occasions – revealing the love and special bond you share.
(P.s in this case I would always advise you to bring along extra clothes so the travel home isn't as muddy as the shoot ;)
All bookings will have to be paid in full at the time of booking - Sessions may be rescheduled due to illness or injury. If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible at 078 4393 2254.
